Academic Programs
The Office of Academic Programs is dedicated to promoting student academic success by supporting the faculty and students based in master’s and PhD programs at Harvard Griffin GSAS. Academic Programs oversees many initiatives and areas of focus, including academic policy, advising, new degree program development and review, and research workshops. The office manages the Harvard Horizons program, oversees the work of the Fellowships & Writing Center, and administers The Advising Project.
Academic Programs also promotes strategic collaboration with the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning, the Mignone Center for Career Success, the Academic Resource Center, Harvard Integrated Life Sciences program, and other partner offices to support GSAS students in their academic work and professional development. The team also cultivates close collaborations with the directors of graduate studies and graduate program coordinators in each Harvard Griffin GSAS program, leveraging those connections to support each Harvard Griffin GSAS student.
