Commencement Registration
If you received your degree in November 2023 or March 2024, or anticipate receiving your degree in May 2024, you are eligible to participate in the May 2024 Commencement activities! After you have applied for your degree in my.harvard, you need to register to participate in Commencement and order your tickets. Signing up for the events and ordering tickets is an additional step students must take to attend Commencement.
Commencement registration is now open and will remain available through April 28. Once you successfully register, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. If you do not receive a confirmation email, this means you did not complete/submit the form and we will not have a ticket packet for you when you arrive at pickup. Please be sure you received confirmation, or contact our office immediately at gsaa@fas.harvard.edu.
Are you an AB/AM and AB/SM degree candidate? You will participate with Harvard College and your undergraduate house in receipt of the AB degree, which is conferred last during the Commencement Morning Exercises. AB/AM and AB/SM candidates are not eligible to attend Harvard Griffin GSAS Commencement activities or receive guest tickets through Harvard Griffin GSAS.
Ticket Allocations
Ticket allocations are outlined below for each event. Please read carefully.
Please note: All registered graduating students will receive a Commencement 2024 lanyard at ticket pickup. This lanyard, and your regalia, will serve as your "ticket" to enter the Yard and attend the Commencement Morning Exercises. You will not have a physical ticket for that event.

*Master's in passing candidates are encouraged to participate in the University-wide Commencement Morning Exercises and Reception and Luncheon. Master's in passing candidates are not eligible to participate in the Harvard Griffin GSAS Diploma Awarding Ceremony as it is not a terminal degree.
Ticket Pickup
Students must pick up their tickets in person, with Harvard ID or photo identification, during the week of Commencement. Dates and times are posted below. Tickets cannot be mailed or picked up by anyone other than the degree candidate. No exceptions.
