GSAS is a community of individuals representing many different abilities, belief systems, ethnicities, genders, nationalities, races, socioeconomic statuses, sexes, and sexual orientations. Augmenting the resources that GSAS provides to all students, graduate student groups support these multiple identities and help you thrive academically and grow personally. Student groups provide social spaces with colleagues across GSAS, professional development, and a deeper engagement with campus life. You can find the various student groups on Engage, a platform that allows GSAS students to join student groups, RSVP to events, and explore social and learning opportunities.
GSAS EDIB provides support and advising for the following student affinity groups:
- Harvard Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (HGWISE)
- Harvard GSAS Latinx Student Association (LSA)
- Harvard GSAS Society of Underrepresented Students in STEM (GSUSS)
- Harvard GSAS Underrepresented Scholars in Neuroscience (USN)
- Harvard LGBTQ@GSAS Association
- Minority Biomedical Scientists of Harvard (MBSH)
- W.E.B. Du Bois Graduate Society of GSAS
