MAURY PEIPERL, MBA ’86, PhD ’94, organizational behavior, is senior fellow in the Office of the Provost at George Mason University, where he recently completed a five-year term as Dean of the School of Business. Previously, he was director (dean) and pro-vice-chancellor of Cranfield School of Management (UK), Professor of Leadership and Strategic Change at the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, and a professor at London Business School, where he taught and directed programs in the areas of human resources, careers, strategy, leadership, and change. His research interests include global careers, leadership dilemmas, human resources, global mindset, and managing growth and change. Peiperl’s publications include the market-leading text Managing Change: Cases and Concepts and the central reference volume The Handbook of Career Studies, among many others. He serves on a variety of business and not-for-profit boards in the United States, the UK, and Europe.
