Harvard Integrated Life Sciences
Harvard Integrated Life Sciences (HILS) assists prospective students in learning about and applying to one of Harvard Griffin GSAS’s 13 life sciences PhD programs. HILS also helps current students benefit from the many academic, physical, social, and mental well-being resources at Harvard Griffin GSAS and Harvard. Additionally, it offers extracurricular programming designed to build engagement across programs.
As co-directors, Professors Rosalind Segal and Elena Kramer craft the strategic vision for HILS and lead and engage the HILS faculty in carrying out this vision.
As executive director, Samantha Reed oversees the administration, operations, and academic and student affairs of HILS and the Division of Medical Sciences. As coordinator, Nicole Santorella aids in the operations, events, and both the academic and student affairs of HILS. As assistant director of equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, Xavier du Maine leads and coordinates diversity recruitment and retention efforts across the 13 HILS PhD programs.
