On Saturday morning, we will be meeting on campus along with several faculty members from our day and age for exchanges around three themes:
- What we took with us: anecdotes about lessons we learned and other formative experiences as doctoral students that shaped our careers and lives.
- What we were back then: reflections on the academic, cultural, and political debates of the mid to late 1980s and their legacies today.
- What in the world is going on today: a debate on the future of liberal democracy.
