Samantha Jones

Samantha Jones received her PhD in music (ethnomusicology) from the the Harvard University Department of Music. Her research focuses on transmission, memory, and musicality in percussive dance practices in Ireland and North America. Samantha has worked in writing centers at the University of Connecticut and Boston University, where she supported students in writing and communicating ideas in a wide variety of disciplines. She believes that the writing process is improved through collaboration and discussion, and she is enthusiastic about working with graduate students on their writing projects.
