  As executive director of the Fellowships & Writing Center (FWC) at Harvard Griffin GSAS, Jeannette Miller oversees the FWC, working with a talented group of staff and postdoctoral fellows. Jeannette critiques pieces of writing, offers workshops, gives feedback on practice presentations, holds fellowship advising hours, oversees application processes for external fellowships, and administers internal fellowship competitions. Jeannette is a historian of modern France. She received her PhD in French and Francophone studies with a focus on Algerian immigration to France and questions of citizenship. She has taught classes on French language, culture, and history, as well as fellowship writing.
