How Dogs Play

PhD candidate Sophie Barton’s Paw Games Study, part of Harvard’s Canine Brains Project, sheds light on canine play behavior, including the interaction of genetic and environmental factors and how training and breed influence a dog’s inclination to engage in social play. In this video, she discusses the intricacies of the way dogs play, its impact on their brain function, and how humans can leverage this knowledge to create a more enriching and joyful environment for our animal companions.
