He is originally from Central California and went to UCLA for his undergraduate studies. At UCLA, Christopher was a part of an amazing program called HHMI Pathways to Success, which prioritizes providing a community for underrepresented students in science. Participating in that program ignited his desire to create and maintain representation for everyone in science and higher education in general.
