Harvard Griffin GSAS students have access to OpenAI ChatGPT Edu. OpenAI ChatGPT Edu is an advanced version of the commercial ChatGPT tool with enhanced data protections, ensuring that data you enter is secure and private and will not be monitored or used to train OpenAI’s models. 

To ease access to the tool, HUIT will push an invitation from OpenAI, inviting you to join Harvard’s ChatGPT Edu Workspace. Please follow these instructions to accept the invitation and claim your account. 

On behalf of the Harvard Griffin GSAS, we want to remind you that it is your responsibility to know and comply with the individual policies set by your instructors for the use of AI, which may differ from course to course or even from assignment to assignment within a course. If in doubt, consult the course syllabus or speak with your instructor. Harvard Griffin GSAS’ policy on academic integrity remains: all work submitted for credit or undertaken as part of the requirements for the degree is expected to be the student’s own work.
