Childcare and Education

With the help of Harvard Neighbors, student-parents can access resources to help with childcare, education, and more.

Harvard Neighbors organizes a playgroup for parents with infants and toddlers (0–3 years) to meet and share friendship, experiences, and activities.

Harvard maintains a childcare bulletin board that lets those with a Harvard ID connect to find and recommend nannies, babysitters, preschool, daycare, after school, and other resources.

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education helps families explore school options, learn about support for English language learners and students with disabilities, become familiar with statewide testing and graduation requirements, and find resources to help students in elementary, middle, and high school and beyond. On their website, you can search for local public and charter schools, as well as learn about the Massachusetts School Choice Program.
