Luke Bruneaux

LUKE BRUNEAUX, PhD ’13, physics, is a healthcare technologist and data leader. At Harvard, Luke studied bet-hedging strategies in the bacterial genome at the FAS Center for Systems Biology. He earned his MSc in physics at the University of Chicago and his BA in physics, summa cum laude, at the University of Pennsylvania.

Luke builds data and technology infrastructures that help health systems improve patient care and lower costs. After Harvard, he began in healthcare analytics at athenahealth, then served as the director of data quality & analytics at the Rhode Island Healthcare Information Exchange, bringing data transparency to the state’s patients, providers, and insurers. He went on to pioneer patient-focused AI solutions at Decision Point Healthcare Solutions, now part of mPulse. He is currently the senior director of analytics & insights at Integra Community Care, an Accountable Care Organization within the Care New England health system. There, he partners with medical groups, hospitals, governmental organizations, and technology providers to improve population health.

Luke also serves as Vice Chair of UCP of Rhode Island, which supports people with disabilities and their families. A lifelong devotee of music and theatre, Luke co-founded the comedy venue Kismet Improv in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, with his wife, Taylor. Luke grew up between Rhode Island and Morocco and is fluent in French and English.
