Gus Zimmerman, PhD ’80, physics, is a solutions team leader at Nokia, consulting with project teams designing and deploying major telecommunications projects around the world. He is a systems architecture expert who has worked on the development and deployment of many state-of-the art telecommunications networks. For many years, he served as Director of the Systems Architecture Review Board that conducted technical reviews of key R&D projects in AT&T and Lucent Technologies. Zimmerman holds seven patents and has published a number of papers in the fields of software development, telecommunications and medical electronics.
