Does your head bop to big band music? Does your syncopated soul inevitably sway to swing jazz? If this is you, or if this isn’t you, it’s a great time to try a swing dance lesson!

Learn the dance of the 1920s and 1930s at the GSAS Student Center on Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. No experience or partner necessary. The first week will be a free taster lesson, followed by a four-week sequence that will guide you through the basics of Lindy Hop, a popular form of swing dance. Each lesson will be approximately 45 minutes long, with 15 minutes of practicing social dance afterward. This lesson series is also an excellent preparation for the GSAS Spring Swing formal on April 4, 2020. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact gsas.arts@gmail.com.
