GSAS Orientation Day

Orientation and DudleyFest for Incoming Students

Wednesday, August 27, 2014
Sanders Theatre, Memorial Hall
and Dudley House

Welcome to GSAS! We've planned a day of events to kick off your Harvard experience by connecting you with important services, resources, and people. Incoming students should plan to attend Orientation, where President Drew Faust and Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean Mike Smith will join GSAS Dean Xiao-Li Meng to greet you.

Following the ceremony, incoming students are invited to lunch in Harvard Yard, and later to an afternoon of fun, food, and drink at Dudley House, including an alumni-sponsored social hour! Returning GSAS students, you're also invited!

On Orientation morning, you'll receive a packet containing a new edition of the GSAS Bulletin (PDF), with stories aimed exclusively at incoming students and a listing of the events of the day. The packet will contain a variety of other information to help you acclimate to Harvard and GSAS — as well as a wristband that will get you the afternoon's food and drink. Pick up the packet at Sanders Theatre.
